Her weight has increased already from 10 kg on arrival, up to 12.6 kg. A hint for her 'owners': it's amazing what a difference food and water makes.
Her colour is improving and she's eating regularly.
We're unable to respond individually to the hundreds of emails we're receiving, so we'll keep posting here and advise people where to come and check on Eve's progress.

It seems that a lot of people dispose of their animal prior to going on vacation and obtain another on their return.
Or worse, as in Eve's case, get locked under the house with no food or water for four or five weeks at a time...

I notice on the video that slight blink Eve gave when a hand passed over her head. Obviously she has suffered abuse as well as neglect. How can people be so wicked? I am just so thankful there are kind compassionate people like yourselves who will turn Eve's life around. My own little cat, now elderly, still shudders when we gently hold her and this after five years of love and reassurance. I wish Eve the very best, for 2008 and for the rest of her life. Carol xx
I am absolutely sickend at what Eve has had to endure. It breaks my heart to see the cruelty she has suffered. I hope with every fibre of my being that the full force of the law is thrown at these people who dare call themselves her owners. To Eve, I wish you all the love and care that you fully deserve and I know that your new family one day will show you all that and more.
Thankyou to those who have rescued you and given you hope. Kim xxxx
