Ho hum...

Well, I thought I'd better write something to you guys, or you'll forget about me.

Not all that much to report really. Life goes on, day after day, and I'm eating well, looking better and feeling absolutely great! My girlish figure has expanded a little too much, and I'm experiencing something you humans call 'midriff bulge' I think. Not that I really care too much, because it's sure better than the alternative. And I've already been there, done that, and I don't want to go there ever again, thank you very much.

Lots of walks, lots of company, my friends all around me, a nice, warm bed to sleep in and lots of really nice food when I want it. What more could a girl ask for? It's not much, when you think about it, but some people apparently have trouble remembering even these basic requirements for their pets.

Anyway, enough dwelling on the past. I think I can smell lasagna cooking, so I'm off to have a sniff around and see what I can find...

See ya!

p.s. Nicole at the SPCA bumped into a friend while on holiday recently and took a photo. Can you remember who this is?

No fat jokes, please...

Just a quick check in to let you know I'm still around & doing great. In my last update I was taking these little pills to stop me itching & they seem to have done the trick so for the time being I don't have to take any more medicine.

Doug the vet at the SPCA is one smart cookie getting me sorted out so quickly. I went back to the SPCA last week for a catch up with my friends, Doug checked me over & said I looked great. I must admit I was a little put out because two or three people made a comment about me looking a bit tubby!! Can you believe it? Apparently I could do with losing a teency, weency kilo or two but after all winter is on the way & a girl needs a bit extra to cope with the cold. Besides that I'm not giving up my Schmacko's & Lasagne leftovers for anybody.

I really enjoyed going back for a visit, Tracy who works there picked me up in the morning on her way to work so I had a cool ride in the car with her two dogs, then I spent all day seeing my old friends & hanging out with other dogs. I also had a visit from those lovely people at the Sunday News who took some photos of me for a story to put in their newspaper. At the end of a very busy & social day Tracy dropped me back home & I was so pleased to see my foster family because I really missed them even though it was nice to have a day out. As they old saying goes there is no place like home & even though they wouldn't admit it they really missed me to & so did my bro.

I sent some pictures of my bro & I having a sleep as I was so tired when I got home I thought I would catch 40 winks outside before dinner. As you can see my mate decided to join me but he always has a lot more than 40 winks.

Time to go but keep thinking about me & look out for my next update.

See ya!!
